The firm was honored for its efforts in advancing climate action and sustainability, with a focus on decarbonizing both new and existing buildings in Boston.
The Boston Climate Leader Awards, presented by the City of Boston’s Environment Department and Mayor Michelle Wu, celebrate organizations, businesses, and individuals leading the way in reducing emissions, enhancing climate resilience, and promoting environmental protection. Studio G Architects, known for its innovative approach to sustainable architecture, was selected for its outstanding contributions to Boston’s climate goals.
The recognition comes as part of the City of Boston’s ongoing commitment to building a more sustainable and equitable future. Finalists and award recipients were celebrated during a ceremony on April 17 at The Connector, Winthrop Place. The event brought together a diverse group of civic leaders, businesses, and climate advocates to highlight the city’s collective progress in tackling climate challenges.
