Studio G Architects is proud to announce new hires and the achievement of one of our employees with Passive House certification.

Keihly Moore, Studio G Staff Architect, recently completed the Passive House Institute US (PHIUS) exam to re-certify as a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC). The PHIUS training (40 hours online and 5 days in-class), covers passive house building design and building science principles such as energy balance, airtightness, thermal bridge free detailing, super-insulation, high-efficiency ventilation, and moisture control.

Keihly’s dedication to infusing sustainable, high performance building and site strategies into every Studio G project improves the health and well-being of occupants and our planet. She brings great value to our firm and projects,” said Gail Sullivan, Managing Principal of Studio G Architects.

Anthony Rodriguez joined Studio G on May 26th as Designer III. Earning a M.Arch from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2016, Anthony has worked on K-12 school designs as well as municipal, residential, and institutional projects and is working towards licensure. “We’re excited to welcome a creative young designer like Anthony who’s seamlessly jumped into our work, even during this tumultuous time of Covid-19 and remote work,” Ms. Sullivan said.

Also joining Studio G is Sheng Yan, through the Massachusetts Clean Energy Internship Program. As a summer intern Sheng will be working on gathering and analyzing Studio G’s sustainable design performance data on current and recent projects, energy modeling for current projects, and researching and helping expand our red-list free materials database. He is working closely with Studio G’s AIA 2030/Sustainability Committee to finalize our Sustainability Action Plan.  His graphic design talents will add to the firm’s graphics library illustrating sustainable design principles to share with clients and the community.
