"Immersing in the destruction of war-torn nations has motivated my work in architecture to respect and serve people, landscapes, ecosystems, and regional cultures."

Chris brings a wealth of professional experience and a deeply personal connection to architecture. His work spans projects in education, commercial, and housing. Recently, Chris led a $36 million Passive House low-income housing project in Dorchester, MA, emphasizing multi-use and adaptive reuse designs.

Originally from South Florida, Chris’s path to architecture was shaped by his service in the Army infantry, with deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. These experiences fostered a passion for mentorship and ethical design, inspiring a vision to create architecture that respects indigenous wisdom and situational landscapes.

Chris approaches design as an iterative process, balancing artistry and technical precision through sketching and hands-on exploration. This method results in innovative, high-performance buildings rooted in their context. He aims to integrate passive building methodologies with regional vernacular and landscapes, fostering sustainable designs that connect construction practices with ecosystems and cultures.

With a collaborative spirit and a commitment to thoughtful design, Chris thrives on translating clients’ visions into impactful spaces that serve people and the planet.
