In this latest short film about the Florence Roche Elementary School in Groton, the school’s principal, teachers, Town of Groton officials, and Studio G Architect’s design team share the vision behind the building — and how thoughtful design shapes how students learn every day.
From early planning through final design, Florence Roche Elementary was shaped by a simple question: what does this community need from a school? Hear from Groton’s Town Manager, the school’s principal, teachers who will use the space daily, and the Studio G Architects team on how Universal Design for Learning (UDL), community-inspired architecture, and sustainable design strategies came together to help the project achieve LEED Gold certification.
