Studio G Architects is proud to announce several key promotions and new hires. These strategic moves underscore the firm’s continued growth and commitment to fostering a dynamic, talented team.
Studio G is pleased to announce the promotion of Sam Maloney, AIA, to Architect 2. Maloney recently earned his architecture license while working full-time at Studio G and teaching first-year students at Wentworth Institute of Technology. His professional experience spans large-scale mixed-use developments, residential master plans, PHIUS-certified affordable housing, and educational facilities. From conceptual design through construction, Maloney delivers results that meet high environmental and performance standards.
Additionally, Studio G is pleased to welcome three new team members in the New Year. Eva Čápová recently joined Studio G as a Project Captain, supporting institutional and housing projects. She brings with her eight years of professional experience, along with a background in multifamily housing and civic work and holds a LEED Green Associate certification. Eva’s experience and sustainability-focused approach reinforce Studio G’s commitment to environmentally responsible design.
Rashmi Ramaswamy has also joined Studio G as a Senior Project Architect/Manager, working within the Housing Studio and on nonprofit-focused projects. Rashmi brings extensive experience in affordable and supportive housing, with a career spanning both Chicago and Boston. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a consultant to Studio G, acting as architect for the Y2Y project and leading the Maurice’s Campground Planning effort on Cape Cod.
Hanna Fortin has also joined Studio G as an Architect 3, supporting the Education and Civic Studio. Hanna brings significant experience in higher education projects throughout Rhode Island, including historic preservation, renovations, additions, and K–12 facilities. She has worked on multiple LEED projects and contributes to both K–12 work and the firm’s pursuit of higher education opportunities.
