With nearly 20 years of experience in designing, planning, and managing educational spaces, Marylee brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this prestigious leadership role.
As a long-time advocate for learner-centered environments, Marylee specializes in creating inclusive, accessible, and diverse educational spaces, with a particular focus on neurodiversity. She firmly believes in the power of the physical environment to enhance student engagement and success, and her collaborative approach ensures that educators, administrators, and communities are all partners in the design process.
“I am honored to be selected as president of the New England Chapter of A4LE,” said Marylee. “I look forward to working with our members to advance the field of learning environment design and build partnerships that foster growth, innovation, and inclusion across our region.”
Marylee’s leadership style is both approachable and strategic. She is committed to growing A4LE’s membership, strengthening connections within the education community, and working with organizations like MHEC to broaden the association’s impact. Her dedication to fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth will help shape the future of learning environments in New England.
Active in the field, Marylee recently presented at the 2024 Northeast Regional Conference, sharing her insights on creating spaces that support the diverse needs of learners. Her work continues to inspire those around her, and she is excited to bring her experience and vision to this new role at A4LE.
“We are incredibly proud of Marylee’s selection as president of A4LE’s New England Chapter,” said Gail Sullivan, Managing Principal at Studio G. “Her passion for creating educational spaces that truly serve the needs of students and educators is unmatched, and we’re excited to see the impact she will continue to make in this new capacity.”
