We couldn’t be more pleased that the media is helping us spread the word about Y2Y youth shelter through recent articles on Boston.com, Improper Bostonian, and Next City. We are so proud that the kinetic and collaborative design process resulted in a space where teens and young adults feel right at home.

“When I came in here, everybody was happy, everybody was laughing. It was just a space where you felt comfortable, where you could call your own,” noted Tony LeBron, a 22-year-old temporary resident of the shelter. Comments like Tony’s remind us of the transformational potential of good design and its import role in helping youth feel supported in healing and planning for the future.
